Manchester City and Pellegrini have been busy this transfer window with the signing of Jesus Navas from Sevilla(€20Mil), Fernandinho from Shahktar Dontesk(€40Mil), and the most recent signing being Alvaro Negredo also from Sevilla(€28Mil).

Negredo a Spanish international scored 25 goals in La Liga last season, and 31 in all competitions, making him the 4th highest scorer in the league, which is a very nice figure for a striker to impress any club with. During his 4 year tenure at Sevilla Negredo accumulated a total of 85 goals in all competitions.

He told Sevilla’s official website earlier this week: “For four years I have been very happy, but I think my time was here over. I am happy to go to a big team.”

Negredo will wear the number 9 jersey for City as it has not been used since the departure of Adebayor.

One more signing on the cusp of happening, is Florentina player Stevan Jovetic, rumored to be joining city very soon for a fee of €32 million.
